Eugene #77 August Meeting

Come join us for a site tour of the SnoTemp Cold Storage facility under construction in Eugene, followed by dinner and drinks at the new Forrester's Bar and Grill for our monthly meeting.

SnoTemp is a freezer facility that houses ice cream, vegetables, fruits, etc. frozen of course. The building that is being erected is a 55,000sq ft freezer building, which includes a loading dock, 2 restrooms and 3 offices. When I say freezer building, I mean the inside temperature of the building is at a cool -20F all the time! 

The site tour begins at 6pm and our guide will be Frank Travis, VP Field Operations/Project Manager at Chambers Construction.

Parking: Enter driveway off of 5th Street. Turn left just inside the driveway. Park at the Chambers job trailer.

Hard hats and safety vests are required, so bring them if you have them! If not, Chambers will have some availible for use onsite. 

After the site tour, we will be heading to Forrester's Bar and Grill for the August meeting, which is located at 1190 City View St, in Eugene. 

Tickets are $20 for NAWIC members, and $22 for guests.
