Presidents Message
Hey Ladies! Don't you just love February? Every day we inch closer to spring and with that comes WIC Week! This year Robin and Ellie have been working to put together an awesome week for everyone, so keep your eyes peeled for your WIC Week packet that will be coming in the mail shortly. You can also read more about this years events down below!
As you all know, our educational scholarships are something we are really proud to offer to eligible students in the construction industry. Jonette has reworked our scholarship applications, and a new page on our site has been created to house them. Now when talking to people about what educational support we offer students, you can direct them to our Scholarships page!
Reminder, please log into the website and set up your member profile. This is how we are displaying our membership roster publically. It is also helpful for everyone to get to know each other, and to showcase a little bit about yourself to the world! If you have not set up your profile by March 1st, I will start the process up creating an account for you. Let me know if you have any questions or need a hand! -Myranda Kelly
March 7th through the 13th is Women In Construction Week this year. All the chapters throughout NAWIC host events this week to showcase what we have to offer and to celebrate being a women in this industry! This year, our chapter has put up billboards all around Eugene to bring attention to this awesome event. You can see our billboards from now till the end of March. If you find one of our billboards, snap a picture of it (safely!) and send it to myrandak@wildish.com with the location you found it in the subject line!
